We never see your card
Card numbers go straight to the payment provider. kitpacks receives the confirmation only, never the number and never the security code.

Prices, currency and duties
Prices are shown in your local currency wherever we support it, and you are charged in the currency displayed at checkout. Inside the EU, VAT is already included in the price you see. Orders to the UK, the USA, Switzerland and Liechtenstein ship DDP, so all customs charges and import duties are already settled at checkout. Nothing extra is collected at your door, no unpleasant surprises. For other destinations outside the EU, local import charges can be added by your country on arrival. Payment questions, answered
When is my card charged?
For a single order the payment is taken the moment you confirm the checkout. For a subscription the first payment is taken at checkout and every following payment on the same day of your cycle.
My payment was declined. What now?
A decline almost always comes from the bank, not from us. Check the card details, the billing address and your available balance, then try again or pick a different method. Nothing is charged when a payment is declined.
Do you store my card details?
No. Card data is handled by the payment provider inside the Shopify checkout. kitpacks only receives the confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Is it safe to pay on kitpacks?
Yes. The entire checkout runs over an encrypted connection inside Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1 certified environment, and European cards are additionally verified with 3-D Secure.
Can I combine payment methods?
One order is paid with one method. You can still combine that method with a gift card or a discount code.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
Orders to the UK, the USA, Switzerland and Liechtenstein ship DDP, so every customs charge and import duty is already included in the price you pay at checkout. Nothing is collected on delivery and the courier will not hand you a bill. Inside the EU, VAT is included and no duties apply. For every other destination, your country can add local import charges on arrival. The shipping policy lists what applies to your region.
How do refunds work?
A refund always goes back to the method you paid with, usually within a few business days of us approving it. The returns policy covers the conditions.
